Life Is A Circle Of Feelings

I want to thank everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes, they were incredibly sweet... I had a quiet birthday with Valentina, which ended up being exactly what I wanted. I wasn't able to go para sailing as I had originally wished but I wasn't able to find someone to go with... and we ended up having massive thunder and lightening... so I am sure I will get there in time.

Also, thank you all for the encouragement to keep working towards being organized, I spent Friday with that lady who helped me before, we were able to clean and organize all six closets. Most of the time was spent on Valentina's two closets, teenagers can be pack rats and so messy. I allowed her to have some say as it is her room but I encouraged her to purge as much as possible. Her two closets took more time than the four other closets combined.
I feel like by being organized that first I feel lighter, I instantly know where my items are and I want to keep it up, second it's easier to clean when there isn't so many items in the way. With all this, I am encouraged to keep eating healthy, which is even more of a reason to keep this up. The exercise is really coming along slowly due to the weight gain which causes pain, however; I have lost some weight by eating properly and I believe it will get easier with time once I lose a little bit more weight. I have decided that a bike is a good way for me to go, it will be less stress on my knees and help my quads to become stronger. That way I can take a couple of bike rides down the trail each day.

I've had a major challenge that normally would have put me into a tailspin where I would have just ate so that I wouldn't have to feel the sadness and pain but I don't want to fall backwards and I know eating won't help me in the long run, I would just feel more unhealthy and uncomfortable... I am in charge of how I feel and how I will react. Just because someone accepted less doesn't mean that I have too... actually I have to say I feel sorry for the people that accept much less then they deserve.
With saying all this I will always be there for those people, if a person realizes the choices that they made were not really the best, they need for their family/friends to just be there for them... no judgement ... we all make poor choices in our lives and honestly it is easier to admit it if you know you have someone who will never judge you and try to tell you they told you so... Forgiveness really comes with letting it go and not trying to be the right one...

I know life is about trials that bring emotions we need to learn how to handle... because if we don't figure out how to deal with them, they just keep coming back to us until we do understand... This past month of organizing has given me a clarity, having less clutter really frees me up to deal with emotions I have buried... ones that were too painful to deal with at the time. Life really is a circle of feelings, knowing this reminds me that sadness really can turn into joy in time...

  2. We all make poor choices at some time in our lives--that is so true. That's how we learn is by making mistakes and then knowing how to do things differently the next time. I agree that it is best to not judge others and be forgiving because we would hope for the same treatment from those we know too. Wishing you a good week ahead, Launna. :)

  3. Isn't it great to de-clutter / get more organised. I do try to keep organised, because it makes for easier living - but sometimes I do have to take time for a sort out! After all we are only human in everything we do, and sometimes not everything is perfect and how we want it...but we keep on trying.

Keep positive, look positive, feel positive.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed your birthday - you'll have to pretend I made you a low carb birthday cake, which I'm sure you would have enjoyed, especially as there are so many great low carb summer fruits available at the moment ...

Hope you have a good week

    Take Care

    All the best Jan

Acho maravilhosa a ideia da bicicleta! É um exercício prazeroso de se fazer. E o melhor é que o tempo voa quando pedalamos!

Sentimentos vem e vão. Você está se preocupando com a organização da alma? É a organização mais importante! ;D

    Ótima segunda!

It so sweet to know you have same month of born with me, and my son has same b'day with valentina.

Well i am happy to know you lost some weight.
Yups, family is not to be judgement, but they who give us comfortable place for rest from the hard world and the best family can do is give support. Some time material or money is not used or importan but just a little care really big meaning and helping.

I thought no body perfect, so to be the right one is a big wrong way. It names is arogancy. And i totally agree with you all time we done such a circle. Today we cry tomorow we laught and next day we cry again, it came and go every day. Thas way just enjoyed what we have to day and do the best for better life in future.

Once again "happy b'day launna hope all the best came to you and god bless you"

It doesn't sound like it was the right day to go parasailing- but that doesn't mean another day won't be the right one! Glad to hear the decluttering is going well. I love the light feeling of organizing. My brain is always happier afterwards. I have some organizing to do this summer too! Good luck. :)

I'm working on decluttering too, -starting from my son's crib that has collected a dust in my room for six years. He never even used it. Ha!! Waste of money. smh!

  32. First of all, happy belated birthday, Launna and a quiet birthday with Valentina is great, you're spending a special day with a special someone. I'm starting to feel the frustration that you had when you were injured...because I am now. Sigh. Somehow I managed to bust my left shoulder and now my rhomboid muscle is swollen to the point I can't really breath because of a stabbing pain.

Ive been pretty busy with series of events. 40. Well hello darling and boy have I missed this space! I trust you had a very fun birthday even though you ended up not going para sailing like you planned. Purge is something I need to do very often in my home. God knows I need it, LOL. The downside of organizing for me is I forget where I put things and frantic to find them, I mess up everywhere and the cycle repeats all over again. Hilarious! I guess I'm born to be a messy hoarder and should probably embrace it. I see me binging and the lbs are creeping in gradually. Hopefully I snap out of it real quick. Have a lovely weekend. Valentina must be thrilled with her newly organized space. Lucky duck her!

  44. What a beautiful post Launna. I'm so happy you're at this place where you are in charge and not letting your emotions rule you, it must feel so great to be! I totally get what you mean when you say you feel lighter and have more clarity because you have de-cluttered your home; being in a cluttered space literally gets me depressed and I know this because my dear husband is a bit of a hoarder but he now knows how badly it affects me and is very helpful and careful to throw things that aren't needed out.
I have also had a situation in my personal life about a loved one who is not only settling for less but also selling family short in the process...... I will write about it soon, I'm just not too sure when 'cos I know she reads me. It does hurt but I reckon some people need to learn from their own experiences- whatever they turn out to be ....
Way to go Launna and I love your quote about life being a circle of feelings...😊😊😊❤️

  45. Dear Launna I agree with you that being organized at home it's also a proper way to organize thoughts, food and life in general. The external and the internal are connected. I'm triying to keep away from items I don't use and give that space to new things and experiences in my life. It's always a pleasure to read your blog.

  52. I like your attitude, dear Launna, and it is so true. We all make mistakes! None of us is perfect and when we do make a mistake the last thing we need is to be hounded for it. Love and encouragement, as well as acceptance and unconditional love, can go a long way to helping others heal...and to help ourselves heal, too. Sending you warm hugs and much love.

  53. I'm proud of you for getting all of the organizational work done. Doesn't it feel GREAT??? When I accomplish a big clean-out and organize job like that, the only trouble is I waste time afterwards just admiring it. (You know, just open the closet or pantry, whatever, to look at it and smile.) :)

I'm glad you had a good birthday, kiddo.

  54. Happy belated Birthday Launna! I'm so sorry my birthday greeting is late, as I'd gotten behind in my blog reading. I'm glad to hear you had a lovely birthday spent with your daughter. In my experience, small and intimate celebrations are much more enjoyable than a big party!

Well done for sticking to a more organised, and clutter-free approach to living. A few years ago I went through a similar process, and it really feels good to have a proper system in place for my things. You're so right, it definitely gives motivation for keeping things organised in future.

Thanks so much for the encouraging comments you always leave on my blog.
